So much fun, thanks for this. You may just have saved me from using python to teach my 12 year old to program.

Well done :)
I could not imagine this is now possible in Java. Thanks, jbang for this wonderful project. You're simply amazing! 😊

I did not know you could do this! I frequently write bash and python scripts so might try this next time I need a script to do a thing. Thanks 😊

The combination of @picocli and @jbangdev seems to be a perfect match.

Java scripting raised to a new level.
With @jbangdev you invoke a script (even url) written in #java (it solves the compiling and dependencies for you)

for a PoC at work, a complete game changer, opens up a whole range of possibilities for scripting with Java. Thanks @maxandersen for this, hope I can have some time in the future and contribute back to it
Jbang is the best thing since sliced bread!

Yup. Imma be writing all my shell scripts in Java thanks to @jbangdev and @picocli. Can't even begin to imagine what I can do with the might of the entire Java ecosystem.

@jbangdev just blew my mind. It definitely brings Java to another level. I would argue that Java could be a better choice than Go for writing scripts/CLIs with @jbangdev
— Gimi Liang (@lzhm) February 10, 2022
When I look at @maxandersen wordle solver with @jbangdev (https://t.co/uuQGwJGiKW) I want immediately unlearn Python 😎
— Patrick Baumgartner (@patbaumgartner) January 27, 2022
JBang (@jbangdev) is seriously bringing back the joy of creating CLIs and tooling in Java! I’ve spent the last few years writing those exclusively in Go, but JBang makes this an almost analogous experience on the JVM front. Great work, @maxandersen!

JBang is a mindblowing. I use to when I need to quickly try out a library and don't want to waste any time.
Strong recommendation!
